General Species Information:
Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA), and elsewhere
Normally we find so much of our wildlife is tiny. It makes sence that to survive in our harsh semi-arid environment "tiny" means less resources required to thrive.
AND THEN we get a whopper like this! A staggeringly large beetle at about 32mm long! That's 8, yes folks EIGHT, times bigger than the Bulbous Antennae Clerid Beetle we just published ....
