Thank you Kate Sandiford for confirming the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere Tiny, ~6mm! We've never seen a bull ant so small. This one is unusually hairy, has a green tint all over it's body with the first node (on the petiole) having a splash of red. It was foraging in a flower of Melaleuca lanceolata at ~9 am, before the heat started. | |||||
