General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA), the Adelaide Hills and elsewhere A very small fly. At first it was hard to determine if it was even Diptera, with the hairy face hiding the usual small antennae of flies. We suspect there are 3 different species here as they are different sizes & colours, but all with the striped body and pronounced hairy face. | |||||
