Thank you Tony and Jenny Dominelli for confirming the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere A large fly with body ~16mm. These parasitise scarab beetles. Also called a Light Fly as they are nocturnal and come to night lights. Found nearly dead after a mothing night. Very unusual wing venation. | |||||
