General Species Information:
Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere
~60mm long Female.
Such an apt name, except of course they can also be brown.
These are often confused with Matchstick Grasshoppers; in photo's. In real life these are massively larger (the largest Matchstick Grasshoppers are 30mm, half the length). In photo's it's easy to see that these have much longer antennae than Matchstick Grasshoppers.
