Thank you Dr Peter McQuillan for identifying and Rog Standen for helping with the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found in the Murray Mallee SA and possibly elsewhere We thought it was a Large Concealer (Ptyoptila matutinella). Peter said "A reasonable fit is to the genus Euchaetis. These are robust oecophorids with the costa of the forewing often outlined in pinkish red and some pinkish tones on the forelegs. Some are rather plain but others are patterned. It looks like less than half the "species" are formally named." | |||||
