General Species Information:
Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere
~30mm long. Peter said "A spectacular caterpillar! This is an ennomine geometrid I haven't seen before. Dorsal appendages are rare in southern Australian ennomines generally. The genus Mochlotona has them but that is a wet forest species in NSW and Victoria and not present in South Australia.

Australian Native Species, not listed in the SA Murray Mallee Survey of 2010.
