| Species: | Patchy Leaf Roller (Notocydia atripunctis)| This Photo: | S1, Reflecting | Synonym: | Eucosma atripunctis | Thank you Axel Kallies for identifying this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere 2nd Record in SA on Atlas: 1st Live Photo on-line: ~7mm long. You can see the colour of S1 varies considerably depending on the angle of the flash light. From dark brown to almose white. We originally thought these were Grapholita sp because of the trailing bars on the wing, but this genus now seems to be restricted to coastal Eastern Seaboard areas.
