Thank you Don Herbison-Evans for confirming the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere The larva was ~20mm long. There is some debate as to what this larva is. It was thought to be raised and id'ed as Calcarifera ordinata, but then the original work in the 1950's had raised a quite different caterpillar to Calcarifera ordinata. A mistake has been made somewhere, so both types of larvae need to be raised again. Larva photographed in Feb. | |||||
