General Species Information:
Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere
According to Don Herbison-Evans, the wingspan of these is about 25mm where as the very similar Isomoralla curriculata (which we thought this was) has a wingspan of about 15mm.
These look satiny with a purple sheen on the dark markings.
Philobota ancylotoxa is in the same Bold BIN as P. biophora, meaning they are the same species. But that hasn't been picked up th AFD yet.
Measured wingspan of 3 we captured, ~23-28mm .
We found these in September & October.

This species is an Australian Native Species, not listed in the SA Murray Mallee Survey of 2010.
