General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere After Marie found the amazing flightless female above, I couldn't let her have all the fun! So within a week found one myself (couldn't believe I got so lucky!). Turns out it's a different species. It looks much larger, but is the same size at ~10mm long and ~13mm wingspan. We couldn't find any hindwings however. They must exist, but one assumes are so reduced that they are not visible (even though the forewings can be seen clear of the body). | |||||
