Species: | Looper Moth (Middletonia AH06)This Photo: | S2, Profile, dark morph | Synonym: | Syneora | Thank you Axel Kallies for identifying this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere An undescribed species, but still included in the CSIRO database as Syneora AH06; the initials AH refer to Axel Hausmann. Males have bipectinate antennae, females have filimorm. Axel Kallies said "Clearly the same species as "Syneora" sp Ah06. However, I have no doubt that it is misplaced. I dont think it is even vaguely related to Syneora."
