General Species Information:
Seen in Coastal Areas
~60mm wide.
Found on the beach by our little 16m old grandson.
We thought it was a cockle or pipi, but we've never seen one this salmon colour before. It turns out it's in a totally different taxon family! Even Pipi's are in a different order to cockles.

This species is

Australian Native Species, not listed in the SA Murray Mallee Survey of 2010.
