Thank you Ralph Foster & Alan Dandie for confirming the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found in the Murray Mallee SA and possibly elsewhere There were a number of bushes with these pink flowers on them. Clearly a genetic aberation. Darren Schmitke thought they were "sports". But then he & Marie discovered they looked like different plants, coming out of the ground a couple of centimetres apart. We still think they are a type of "sport", but suckering from the roots rather than up the stem as a branch. This occurred with a number of plants and they all looked like one plant. There wasn't a pink flowering plant on it's own. | |||||
