A small tree of only about 3m tall here. Flowers are hairy, yellow, tubular, long & thin ~38mm long. The flower tips go from green to yellow with age. The leaves were very variable in length, up to ~90mm. The stems start as green & flexible, going pale brown & woody with age.
Flowers form at the end of stems.
We've been driving past this, on the roadside, for years and finally took our camera with us to get some photo's.
An environmental weed that's very woody and difficult to destroy once established.
