We just found one specimen, in a very heavy rainfall year. We originally thought this was Pseudognaphalium luteoalbum, but a recent study separated these out. Layanna noticed ours and updated our id saying "Bracts look pretty brown". When we indicated they hadn't been officially recognised in SA, she said "It's been stated by an official source to be expected in the eastern states." She later added "the habitat that P. lanatum seems concentrated in in Australia ... is away from cities and in more wild areas." Reviewing our photo's it seems we have Pseudognaphalium luteoalbum from the Adelaide Hills, so will post those in the future to enable a comparison of the different coloured bracts.
