General Species Information:
Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere
~290mm long.
These were thought to be Suta nigriceps (previously Parasuta nigriceps), but recent research shows the Murraylands species to be Suta dwyeri.
While these are not known to be dangerous to humans, they are venomous and can easily be confused with dangerous snakes; eg baby brown snake, etc.

This species is classed as

LC (Least Concern)

in the Murray Mallee, SA, by DENR (Regional Species Status Assessments, July 2010)
