Species: | Flat-backed Orb-weaver (Backobourkia sp ES02)This Photo: | 🔍Female, ventral🔎 | Thank you Caitlin Henderson (ShesGotLegs) for identifying and Suzanne and Jim for confirming the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere ~13mm long. We thought it was Eriophora biapicata. Caitlin said "The reduced humps are a puzzle." Suzanne & Jim said "It's easy to see the way the scape kinks up and back down right at the end, something you see in Backobourkia."
