Thank you Anthony Paul & Suzanne and Jim for confirming the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere Volker Framenau said: "These may not be Dolophones turrigera, the genus is completely unresolved and the turret like outgrowths on the abdomen are highly variable. Only examination of the genitalia will get you to a species identification." When photographing wrap arounds we've found they relax if you put a stick in the box with them. | |||||
