| Species: | White-banded Jumping Spider (Euophryini sp)| This Photo: | 🔍S7, Female, dorsal🔎 | Synonym: | Maratus griseus | Thank you (Wedgie_Eagle) for identifying and Tony and Jenny Dominelli (Cinclosoma), Cael Gallery (Miturgidae) & Gelkiu for helping with the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere Females are ~7-8mm. The one male we measured was ~6.5 These are very variable. It seems the skull pattern on the abdomen is a rarity, rather than the norm. We thought these were Hypoblemum griseum, but it seems a lot of these jumping spiders look very similar and the ones in South Australia are poorly researched.
