Thank you Geoffrey Cox for confirming the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA), the Adelaide Hills and elsewhere Attractive array of yellow, grey, fawn, black + a red dot. Its monotonous call gets very tedious when raising chicks. Black crown with usually white, but occasionally yellow streaks. A red spot on its wings shows up in photos when perched. | |||||
