for confirming the id of this species for us We were surprised at the bright orange colour of the inside legs of a frog in a bird bath. So took another photo, then coaxed the same frog onto a leaf, to show their transparent skin. The photo on clear plastic shows the true colour of the inside legs & feet. We've measured a few and they ranged in size from 26 to 32mm long (head to tail). These were Brown Tree Frog (Litoria ewingii), but have now been split away under a new taxon change. Thank you Reiner Richter & Steve Walker for confirming the id of this species for us Where do these live? We've been at Ellura for over 2 years now and never seen one. We don't have any standing water (damn, spring, etc). Suddenly after a day of gentle rain one of these just hopped in for a visit!
