General Species Information:
Found in the Murray Mallee SA, Adelaide Hills and possibly elsewhere
We were surprised at the bright orange colour of the inside legs of a frog in a bird bath. So took another photo, then coaxed the same frog onto a leaf, to show their transparent skin. The photo on clear plastic shows the true colour of the inside legs & feet.
We've measured a few and they ranged in size from 26 to 32mm long (head to tail). These were Brown Tree Frog (Litoria ewingii), but have now been split away under a new taxon change.
