General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere ~8mm long. Notice the emarginate eyes. It's pink pronotum is diagnostic, and they love mallee gum. Also, notice the feet. They have pads (all leaf-beetles do) to help them suck onto leaves - hence the name. | |||||
