Thank you Reiner Richter & John Tann for confirming the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA), the Adelaide Hills, the Flinders Ranges and elsewhere Notice with Skimmers, they sit with their wings out down, below horizontal. The males are similar to Scarlet Percher (Diplacodes haematodes), but with more black markings. | |||||
