Species: | Brown Striped Bee Fly (Villini sp ES05)This Photo: | 🔍Anterior🔎 | Thank you Dr Chris Lambkin for identifying this species for us General Species Information: Found in the Riverland and possibly elsewhere Generally, for Villini, it seems the eyes are much closer together at the top for males compared with females; making it possible to separate the genders from a good dorsal head shot. This occurs with other fly families, but not all.
