The lighting has been bumped up to the wazzoo to highlight the lines/patterns/colours. Otherwise it would just appear like a black moth, not very diagnostic. While not actually black, it's very dark. As such, several similar shots showing different perspectives; lighting, wing placement & focus. These are all of the same specimen. It's quite worn, with a lot of missing scales over the wing. The hindwings are also damaged/missing pieces at the posterior. We originally thought this was Horisme mortuata.
