Thank you Aidan Beutel for identifying and Ethan Beaver & Matthew Connors for helping with the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere ~58mm long Male. S2 was being consumed by a spider. So we grabbed it and while fresh, it was dead unfortunately. Still, gave us the opportunity to see it's wings. Originally thought to be Children's Stick Insect (Tropidoderus childrenii), named after zoologist John George Children, not because children like them.
