Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere
Originally thought to be Children's Stick Insect (Tropidoderus childrenii), named after zoologist John George Children, not because children like them.

This species is an Australian Native Species, not listed in the SA Murray Mallee Survey of 2010.
