General Species Information:
Found in the Flinders Ranges, Coastal Areas and possibly elsewhere
In these photo's the flowers have a blue hue to them. This wasn't visible to the naked eye, so a camera artifact; not real.
Notice the diagnostic hairs on the stem that separate this species out from the other introduced weed in SA; P. nanteuilii.
Alan Dandie said "The two species in SA are P. dubia and P. nanteuilii and are very similar. From the descriptions in VicFlora, one difference is that P. dubia is densely hairy with glandular hairs between leaf nodes in the central stem area. The stems of P. nanteuilii are often glabrous, but may have some non-glandular hairs."
