| Species: | Annual Bluebell (Wahlenbergia gracilenta)| This Photo: | 🔍Flower🔎 | Other name: | Blue-bell | Thank you Dr Peter Lang for identifying this species for us General Species Information: Found in the Murray Mallee SA, Riverland and possibly elsewhere We were stumped with this one, both from being white & having a hairy calyx. We couldn't find a match. Peter said "I'm always pleased when I see forms with hairs on the hypanthium, as it is a good indicator of W. gracilenta (along with its annual habit). However, it is more often than not glabrous. Variably hairy on fruit and calyx, and often white. Always annual."
