General Species Information:
Found in the Murray Mallee SA, Flinders Ranges, Coastal Areas and possibly elsewhere
People seem to love the name of this plant. Any round flowering yellow daisy seems to get attributed to this species; but so often it's something else. It's quite a large plant compared to a wirewort. Knee high for this one, compared to angle high for wireworts. Like wireworts, these have one flower per stem. Notice here, from the underneath angle, the flower is a near complete ball.
As you can understand, from their status, not often seen in the Murraylands. Elsewhere in South Australia, they are least concern and seen often.
