Species: | Narrow-leaf New Holland Daisy (Vittadinia blackii)This Photo: | 🔍Flower, from abvoe🔎 | Thank you Alan Dandie (Alan_Dandie) for confirming the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA), the Flinders Ranges and elsewhere The plant ~100mm high, flowers ~10mm across. Typical vittadinia flowers (small lilac petals on top of a large sepal cup). Unlike our others, this plant is dark green, with very little hairy on the the leaves or stem. This makes it look like a different genus until if flowers. We've seen it flower in Mar, Apr, May, Sept, Oct & Nov, so it seems an Autumn & Spring flowering plant.
