Thank you Joseph Schubert for identifying and Suzanne and Jim, David Muirhead & Belinda Copland for confirming the id of this species for us General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere ~6mm long. These are known for their green eyes & long, black hairy front 4 legs. Notice on the outside of the black hairy legs, there are long white hairs mixed in. This is visible in the profile shots. They are a dark spider (with black base colour) with pale hairs. With S2 we bumped up the lighting to highlight features, but this tends to distort colour somewhat. | |||||
