EXTRA - Photo Specific Information: The waist in spiders is called the "Pedicel". Jumping spiders are renowned for lifting their heads and "looking at you". They can do this because of a long flexible Pedicel, which isn't usually visible; but we got lucky with this shot to be able to highlight it.
