General Species Information: Found on Ellura (in the Murray Mallee, SA) and elsewhere There two unusual aspects of this specimen. 1. It's brown. But there are brown mouse spiders out there. They just don't seem to be noticed as much. 2. It's a female. Now typically these are only seen when someone has accidentally dug up their burrow. But we found this one just walking around in the daytime. Perhaps a bird dug up it's borrow? It is injured, with a big gash on it's head. | |||||
